Dr Khumri has been a practicing GP since 2002 after having qualified from University College London Medical School in 1996. She gained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2003. She has trained in Paediatrics, Accident & Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Internal Medicine. She holds postgraduate Diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Sexual & Reproductive Health.

Dr Khumri is also a Yoga Practitioner with 10 years of teaching experience working with individuals and small groups both in the UK and in India. Trained by her late father she continues to develop her skills and knowledge with regular visits to India and guidance from her mentor. She also works with a team of international partners to promote a holistic approach to health using yoga therapy, naturopathy, Ayurveda and conventional medicine to help restore lifestyle balance and promote good health and longevity.

Dr Khumri is currently involved in research in the field of Yoga Therapy. She is registered with The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and is a member of the British Council for Yoga Therapy.home_dr_khumri
